Biblically-based, after-school discipleship of youth ages 8-18 in North Little Rock’s Eastgate Terrace community; Mentors commit to meeting once a week with their mentee to build a relationship through a staff provided, structured program which incorporates Bible study, games, and life skill training.
In-school encouragement in Little Rock, North Little Rock & Pulaski County schools; Encouragers meet at the school they select once a week for one hour, building relationships with two children for 30 minutes each. Teachers provide a packet of material for the Encourager to work on with their students.
After-school tutoring for elementary age students in North Little Rock’s Eastgate Terrace community; Tutors commit to meeting once or twice a week during the school year with their student to build a relationship and help with subjects that have become problem areas. Tutors and students meet at the STEP Family Outreach Center for an hour and work through a packet of materials provided by the staff.
