Just recently, Latasha, a STEP alum, reached out to STEP via Facebook message to send a photo and say “thank you” for the lifelong mentor God provided to her through the STEP mentoring program:

“This is 17 years and counting. This is ‘My Tonya.’ Cannot thank STEP Ministries enough for bringing us together my freshman year in high school. She has gotten to see me grow into the woman I am (from Bible study, Faithfulness outings, time and money management…even helped me ship to basic training…seeing me graduate with my bachelors and masters…crying now…lol). Just wanted to send you guys a thank you that I cannot ever repay.”

Over the past 36 years of ministry, STEP Ministries has recruited, trained, and supported thousands of Christian mentors and tutors in central Arkansas who are like “My Tonya” for God’s glory and purposes. STEP Mentoring IS Christian discipleship. And, we prayerfully plan for being a part of mobilizing thousands more!.
